Agronomic Performance Guide
Field Cultivation & Transport Tips
Practical guidance for farmers cultivating Marigold Yellow from plug seedling trays.
1. Transplanting Best Practices
Transplant plug seedlings during late afternoon or overcast weather into well-tilled raised beds with drip lateral lines. Push root ball gently from under the tray cavity to prevent stem tearing.
2. Fertigation & Basal Dose
Apply 10 tonnes decomposed FYM or compost per acre as basal dress. Start water-soluble fertigation (19:19:19) 10 days after transplanting to stimulate aggressive fibrous root branching.
3. Secure Packing & Dispatch
Trays are pre-hydrated and securely nested inside rigid transit frames. Dispatches leave our Pune nursery via scheduled logistics partners across Western and Central India.
